Research Projects

Concussion CORPS is dedicated to conducting research to help increase awareness of the injury of concussion, improve recovery management, discover trends in injury, and improve the safety of youth in sport. Research projects are ongoing and community organizations are encouraged to contact us with ideas or partnership opportunities to further research. Supported projects thus far include the following:
  1. Middle School and Youth Athletes: Concussion Awareness and Response
  2. Treadmill Challenge Test (BCTT) in children under 14 years old
  3. Establishment of means for King-Devick Eye Tracking Speed by gender and age
  4. Establishment of means for SWAY Balance Test
  5. Children’s Head Injury Reporting Program
  6. Efficacy of CMT Building in school
  7. Efficacy of Online Concussion Education Video Training for Middle School Hockey Coaches
